Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. The TV show she hosts, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK premiered on March 30, 2012. She also serves as an on-camera meteorologist and is the co-executive director. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER which came out from Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 of 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In her role as a special assignment reporter, she reported three times a week on lifestyle, entertainment as well as news. Before joining WB56, she was the meteorologist on weekends at WFOR-TV in Miami. She's held a number of meteorology, reporting, as well as television jobs. This includes: News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network and WXII-TV, an NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem. She was also a regular guest for The Saturday Early Show, she was meteorologist for CBS within New York City.
